We're thrilled to have expanded our range of beautiful books with over thirty new titles across our Music, Culture, and new Gastronomy collection.
You may (or may not!) know that Special Edition Books is part of a family of publishers who are all divisions of Hachette UK. Our books come from these publishing houses, which include Bookouture, Headline, Hodder & Stoughton, Hachette Children's and Hachette Learning, John Murray, Little, Brown, Octopus, Orion, and Paperblanks.
Introducing Octopus Books

We've been working with Octopus Books to increase our offering to book lovers. Octopus are the premier publisher of food and drink writing in the UK, and we previously partnered with them bring you the gorgeous special edition of A Sense of Place - a breath-taking journey through the landscape, culture, and craft that defines Scotch whisky.
Now you can also own the ultimate in cookery books, such as the definitive New Larousse Gastronomique, or expand your collection of writing by Dave Broom with his World Atlas of Whisky.
They are also the publisher behind Kevin Cummins' Telling Stories and David Bowie: Mixing Memory and Desire, and now bring a wealth of books to our Music collection as well as Gastronomy, so that you can get an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the world's greatest musicians and own stunning books about your favourite bands. Metalheads are sure to enjoy the story behind the songs of Metallica, and the history of Rickenbacker guitars.
Special Editions from across Hachette UK

We've also introduced new special editions from Hodder and Stoughton and Orion to our collection, from the curious charms of Accidentally Wes Anderson: Adventures to the phenomenal Johnny Cash: The Life in Lyrics.
This new selection includes a wide range of collectible books, from limited and gorgeous slipcase editions, to photography-filled hardbacks you're unlikely to find in your regular high street bookshop.
All of these have been specially selected to make for a perfect gift for a loved one, or a treasure for your own shelves.
