How long does delivery take?
Delivery time will vary based on your location. We always use a tracked service. Within the UK and mainland Europe, we aim to deliver within 2-5 working days for delivery. For global destinations, please allow up to 21 days.
Where do you deliver to?
We're pleased to be able to deliver to book lovers across the world. You can see the full list of our delivery destinations here. Please note that each book may have its own geographic restrictions, which will be shown on the product page. Make sure you review this carefully before ordering.
Why can't I order a particular title to my country?
Based on publishing agreements, unfortunately some books can't be sold into certain regions, for instance the USA. In these cases, the author may have a different publisher in your region with their own special edition.
I have a question about the shipping cost.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout. All orders are shipped via a tracked service, and the cost is based on product weight. Please contact support@specialeditionbooks.co.uk if you are concerned there is an error.
Does the price cover all import costs for international customers?
International customers may be liable for additional import or customs fees, depending on the laws and regulations in your country. These will be payable directly by you upon receipt of the items. Please refer to our list of shipping destinations for more details.
Can I amend an order or shipping address?
Unfortunately we cannot make any amendments to your order or shipping details once submitted. If the item hasn't been shipped, you may be able to cancel your order from your account area or by contacting support@specialeditionbooks.co.uk. You can then place a new order for the item, subject to availability.
How do I cancel an order or return an item?
You can cancel an order or return your item in accordance with our terms of service. Please contact support@specialeditionbooks.co.uk in the first instance.
Are your special or limited editions authenticated?
The product listing for a book will detail if it comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please keep any authentications safe, as we cannot replace any that are lost or damaged.
Do you provide authentication for books previously published by Hachette UK?
We can only confirm the authenticity of books sold directly through our storefront.
Are your books new or vintage/antiques?
We currently only sell new books published by Hachette UK publishers. You can find out more about Hachette UK here.
Are items in my cart reserved for me?
Items in your cart are not reserved. Please complete your purchase to avoid disappointment where stock of an item is limited.
Why has an order I placed been cancelled?
On rare occasions, we might need to cancel your order in line with our terms of service. This could be due to a title going out of stock as a result of high demand and low availability. While we hate disappointing customers, in scenarios such as this orders will be fulfilled in the order in which they were successfully placed. Any order that we cannot fulfil will be refunded automatically.
