INSIDE NO.9: THE SCRIPTS SERIES 7-9 BOX SET PRIZE DRAW: Terms and Conditions

  1. This Prize Draw is being organised by Hodder & Stoughton Limited (the ‘Publisher’), Carmelite House, 50 Victoria Embankment, London EC4Y 0DZ.
  2. This Prize Draw is for the chance to win: 1 x shooting script for ‘Wise Owl’ signed by the authors; 1 x waistcoat, signed by the authors, as featured in ‘The Last Night of the Proms’; 1 x stained-glass window prop, as featured in ‘The Bones of St Nicholas’; 1 x Paul Jenkins hare sculpture, signed by the authors (the ‘Prize’)
  3. To enter the Prize Draw, you will need to purchase the box set of Inside No. 9: The Scripts Series 7-9 (ISBN 9781399739047) from specialeditionbooks.co.uk between 10.00am 10th October 2024 and 10pm 29th November 2024. This includes pre-orders placed ahead of publication on 7th November 2024. No further purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.
  4. The winner of the Prize Draw (the ‘Winner’) will be selected at random from the entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions by a member of the Publisher’s marketing team, whose decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into. The Winner will be informed by email within 10 days of the closing date. The Winner will receive the Prize no later than 20 December 2024. The Prize will be delivered via courier and the Winner will need to provide the Publisher a UK based address for delivery.
  5. Entries may only be submitted between the times and dates set out in Clause 3. Any entries received outside these specified times and dates and any entries that do not meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions will not be eligible for entry to the Prize Draw. An entrant may only submit one entry. Further entries will be disqualified. Entries will not be accepted via agents, third parties or in bulk. 
  6. The Prize is for the Winner’s personal use and enjoyment only. The Winner must not resell the Prize under any circumstance.
  7. The Winner’s name and/or social media handle may be published on the Publisher’s website and social media accounts. Unless a Winner objects, the Publisher will make available the name of the Winner to anyone who requests this information by writing to the Publisher at the address shown above.
  8. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of the Publisher, their families, or to anyone professionally connected to the Prize Draw or the authors either themselves or through their families. The Prize will not be awarded to anyone who does not meet these entry criteria.
  9. The Publisher is not responsible for contacting or responding to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries that are lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
  10. The Publisher reserves the right to (i) cancel the Prize Draw; (ii) alter the details of the Prize and/or (iii) alter any other details of the Prize Draw without notice but the Publisher will try to avoid creating any undue disappointment. No cash alternative or other alternatives to the Prize will be provided.
  11. If the Winner is unable to accept their Prize or cannot be contacted, the Publisher reserves the right not to award the Prize. 
  12. Any personal data submitted by entrants, including their names and email addresses (the ‘Information’), will be used by the Publisher (who is the Data Controller) for the purposes of this Prize Draw, including without limitation for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and arranging and/or delivering the Prize, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with Publisher’s Privacy Notice which can be found here https://www.hodder.co.uk/imprint/hodder/page/privacy-notice-general-hs/. The Information will be deleted within six months of delivery of the Prize. The Publisher will not share the Information with any third parties except for the purpose of arranging and/or delivering the Prize.
  13. Where an entrant has opted-in to receive marketing communications from the Publisher, the email address of the entrant will be used by the Publisher in accordance with the Publisher’s Privacy Notice to send the entrant the information they agreed to receive at the time of opting in.  Entrants will be given the option of opting out in those emails if they don’t want to continue receiving them. 
  14. By entering the Prize Draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  15. These Terms and Conditions and any disputes or claims (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
